Build it. Film it. Ship it. Get rewarded.

Gnars Bounties is a new lane for small onchain grants built to keep the wheels turning.
This is a place where you can create a bounty if you have an idea that deserves backing, or jump into a bounty that is already live if you have the skills to make it real.
That means tricks. Clips. Edits. Photos. Design. DIY builds. Weird gnarly creations that nobody saw coming. If it pushes culture forward, it belongs in the mix.
We’re launching this new phase in partnership with POIDH, shout out to Kenny for helping spark it.
The point is simple: keep small grants moving through the community and support as many real athletes, makers, and unexpected destroyers as possible.
Gnars Bounties exists because culture does not move on speeches alone.
It moves when someone puts up a challenge. It moves when someone answers it. It moves when a trick gets clipped, a spot gets hit, a zine gets printed, a weird idea gets tested, and a new person finds a reason to step in.
We believe small grants matter. Not because they are huge.Because they are enough to start motion.Enough to back a session.Enough to reward initiative.Enough to turn raw energy into something real.
If you bring heat, effort, style, risk, or originality, there should be a place for you here.
That’s what Gnars Bounties is meant to be:
A working system for opportunity.
A direct path into the Gnars ecosystem.
A way to keep the culture alive by rewarding action.
This doesn’t come out of nowhere.
It carries some of the energy we lived through in That’s Gnarly and Prop House moments where the right amount of support at the right time could unlock a clip, a project, a session, a spark, or a path forward.
Gnars Bounties picks that up and pushes it into a more open, more direct format.
No dead process. No polished grant-speak. No waiting around for perfect conditions.
Just a place to put up an idea, back a mission, complete the work, and get paid onchain.
Gnars Bounties is part tool, part proving ground, part onboarding lane into the Gnars ecosystem.
You can use it to:
Create bounties for things you want to see happen
Join bounties that match your skills or style
Earn small onchain rewards for real contributions
Discover Gnars through action instead of empty talk
Building a living system where skateboarding, creativity, and community energy can keep feeding each other.
A significant portion of output is expected to originate from board sports contexts such as skate, surf, and snow through clips, raw sessions, street footage, and athlete-driven content. However, Gnars operates beyond a single format, incorporating multidisciplinary contributions including art, design, editorial work, photography, experimental media, and community-driven initiatives.
Any output that demonstrates authentic cultural relevance and contributes to ecosystem momentum is considered within scope.
''The best scenes don’t survive on hype.''
They survive because people find ways to support each other, trade energy, build small systems, and keep giving new people a way in. A place where someone can show up with a trick, an idea, a clip, a design, or a wild concept and actually get a shot.
That matters for athletes. It matters for creators. It matters for the future of Gnars.
We’re not trying to build some polished brand sandbox.
This should feel alive.
Fast. Raw. Useful. Open.
